Handmade hammock designed and made by Margarita Canul of the Maya Yucateca
community of Timul, Tahdziú, Yucatan municipality. In order to develop this hammock, she combined various techniques including handmade tassels applied, alternated with macramé, a double row of long and short fringe, ribbon hooking and a decorative macrame netting. The stitch is known as "petal" with 100% cotton cord yarn.
Care and maintenance: Wash by hand, soaking first before adding mild soap.
