Our handmade Jullia hammock is designed and made by Gabi Chable of the Maya Yucateca community of Timul, Tahdziú, Yucatan municipality. In order to develop this hammock, she combined various techniques including handmade tassels applied, alternated with macramé, a double row of long and short fringe, ribbon hooking and a decorative macrame netting. The stitch is known as "petal" with 100% natural cotton cord yarn.
