Pre-order Rosa Reed Tote

Our Rosa Reed Tote is made by Toino Abel by hand in rural Portugal, where weaving baskets with reed is a millenary tradition. Each piece is hand sewn with cotton threads and lined with organic cotton. You may choose to add a leather strap to make it a cross-body tote or woven leather handles, which Toino Abel recommends.

TOINO ABEL was founded by Nuno Henriques. Nuno uses his passion for this almost lost craft to drive forward a tradition in new ways. Nuno started TOINO ABEL in 2010 in Berlin and moved to the Portuguese countryside in 2013 to work alongside the remaining generation of traditional craftspeople.
