Filamento chose the traditional basket weaving technique, best learned by the artisans of the region, to combine it with a piece of naturally blown glass and create a light fixture with a great sense of origin in its materiality.

Handcrafted by Filamento - An artisan lighting workshop in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México, founded by architects Sofía Contreras and Enrique Tripp. Each piece is inspired by Mexican culture and created alongside artisan communities who specialize in traditional palm weaving and glass blowing.
