Flores y Mariposas
A large handwoven poncho by Taller Netzahualcoyotl. A soft grey-taupe ground is scattered with a delicate all-over motif of flowers and butterflies in pink, red, and lavender — evoking a garden in quiet bloom. At the upper center, a bold diamond medallion in deep magenta and purple commands the composition. Natural cochineal and palo de campeche dyes. Design and dye work by Ignacio Netzahualcoyotl. Woven by Cristiana Netzahualcoyotl.
Exhibited in Flowers Keep No Secrets at Heritage by Hand, Indian Market 2026, Santa Fe.
