From the Tarascan region in the state of Michoacán, hammered copper pieces emerge blow by blow. An original technique that is still in use today in the town of Santa Clara de Cobre, recognized worldwide for working this mineral with the passion of those who inherit family and ancestral knowledge.
Filamento artisan partners in Michoacán create each piece by hand. The central idea of the Purépecha Collection revolves around the marks that each artisan leaves on the copper plates, moving away from industrial standardization and appreciating in each indentation of the hammer a gesture and a particular detail.
