From Tonalá, Jalisco—the "cradle of pottery"—comes this collection that works with the material and technical legacy of Jalisco's popular art, particularly from the Tastoán people. Filamento's artisan partners include master craftsman Ángel Santos, whose trajectory in burnished clay has been recognized worldwide.
The main characteristic of this collection is its ability to bring a millennial technique to contemporary design, preserving the Tonalá tradition while contributing to the relevance of Mexican popular art. These are sincere pieces that refer to the origin of clay: the lightness of earth, warm and brown tones, the capricious marks of fire left by every passage through the kiln.
